NJF series aluminum alloy hollow type cooling tower fans are designed specifically for cooling tower, offering distinct advantages over other types of fans. The blade enhanced for low sound operation, delivers maximum air flow and pressure capability at reduced speed. The skin of NJF fan is made with high quality aliminum alloy that is infused with pigment for even distribution across the laminate. Blades connects to the fan hub using a heavy-galvanized iron ring integrally molded with each fan blade. By loosening the hub attachment hardware, blades can easily be rotated to achieve desired pitch, permitting maximum utilization of fan horsepower.
Model Description
Features
■ High transmission efficiency: aluminum alloy airfoil blades with high transmission efficiency
■ Light weight: high-strength aluminum alloy material.
■ Good balance: the fan blades have high precision, and have been tested for weight matching and balance before delivering, the fan running balance has been modified.
■ Anti-corrosion ability: the surface oxidation treatment process used on the surface of the fan improves the corrosion resistance.

Fan Assembly Instructions
Newin NJF series hollow type aluminum alloy fans are shipped in unassembled shape, fan blades and hub will be matched well to ensure proper re-assembly.
a. Select a wide open area to accommodate to the fan diameter.
b. Position the fan hub 1 in the center of the work area with the blade sockets.
c. Place fan blade 2 in a blade socket on the hub. On fans where the blades overlap at the hub be sure to have the leading edge under the trailing edge of the forward blade.
d. Ensure the blade shank safety collar is inboard of the inner hub rim
Fan Installation Instructions
1. Be sure cooling tower motor is locked out.
2. Clean the hub bore and driving shaft extension for the full length of the key.
3. Insert the key in the keyway. The top of the key must be below the top of the shaft by not more than 3 mm . The key is a tight fit across the width and must never be altered.
4. After cleaning, apply a coat of anti-seize compound to the engage - ment portion of the shaft.
5. Raise the fan assembly above the shaft and slowly lower the hub onto the shaft with the keyways aligned. Make certain the key does not slide down during installation.
6. Install the Hub Retention Cap Screw with Lock Washer.
Application & Usage
Hollow type aluminum alloy fan is widely used in different types of cooling towers, 3 fan blades, 4 fan blades, 5 fan blades, 6 fan blades and 8 fan blades are available for different working condition and air volume conditions. Newin also supplies customized service for customers worldwide.
Fan Maintenance
Timely fan maintenance will prolong the useful life and assure continued trouble-free operation.
After the first week and subsequently at six month intervals:
• Torque all hardware to check if any loose
• Visually inspect the fan for airborne debris damage, check with fan cylinder segments, and corrosive attack. Correct any situations deter-mined detrimental to fan operation.
• Remove any accumulated scale or dirt.
• Clear blade drain holes at fan tip.
